Five on Friday
1. It was 34 degrees when we woke up today.
2. Then it snowed so Maya and I baked quite possibly the best banana bread ever while listening to Amy Grant Christmas music.
3. I'm not bragging, it is simply the best banana bread ever and I will make this recipe always and forever.
4. Next week is the big Thanksgiving feast at preschool. I get to be the room mom that day and help out. Just a little excited! Pictures to come.
5. Ben is in the process of finishing our basement. We'll have a family room, Rec room(his ping pong table), playroom, 2nd bathroom, laundry room and my favorite-the long awaited craft room(insert heavenly angels singing ahhhhhh here).
Have a great weekend!
PS- here is the banana bread recipe courtesy of my friend Karen, courtesy of Emeril and the Food Network.
What I do different is no walnuts, and no food processor. Just a regular old hand mixer for everything. Enjoy!

Thank you, thank you for that recipe! I love banana bread and haven't found one I've been happy with since accidentally throwing out my old one.
