Today
Today was a glimpse of summer. Maya and I had so much fun playing together in the yard. She is turning into a little girl. Of course I took my camera outside with us. She likes to pose for pictures now. Anyway- enjoy a little early summer!

Flashback Friday: Recital Costume Pictures
This weekend is recital costume pictures at the dance studio. My amazing talented friends at Visualizations , (if you click children on their home page, my daughter is one of the children pictured. She's the half naked baby with a pink tutu) come to the studio and take pictures of all my sweet little dancers dressed to the "T" in their recital costumes. I took part in this special occasion growing up. Here is a fun one. I believe I was in 5th grade and danced to PYT- Pretty Young Thing by Michael Jackson. Oh dear- I can't believe I am dating myself so! Don't ya love the feathered hair? How about the darker than dark tights with bright white jazz shoes. UGH! Although it's refreshing to see that I was a skinny minny at one time.

Gas prices!
After being inspired twice today about our over priced gas, I have to post this link. It doesn't make gas any cheaper, but it helps you find the cheapest! Just put in your zip code!

"Back to Life, Back to Reality"
Ok- I miss my napkins. Why would I possibly say a crazy thing like that you ask. Well- as much as I loved eating my ice cream and watching the Apprentice on the couch tonight, I spent the last 7 nights before this one at Stow High School. They did Beauty and the Beast for their spring musical and it was FANTASTIC! I had the tremendous opportunity of choreographing this musical. It was truly the hardest thing I have done next to childbirth. The first 2 months or so I would get chest pains and shortness of breath before I would go teach this cast of thousands! The last two weeks however made me realize why I did it. This cast of thousands comes together as one and creates an amazing event. Ok- so not a thousand but 120 kids feels like 1000. I am so blessed to have met these hardworking, thoughtful, creative, talented, fun highschoolers. As I told them, I only choreographed their steps, but they created beautiful dances! PS- The Rave ROCKED!
Thanks for the pictures Holly's Dad!
