Three Wishes

I am trying to think of ways to help a favorite TV show of mine and this is one way I know how. Ok- so I may be a crazed Amy Grant fan, but the show 3 Wishes is in trouble. NBC may be pulling it from it's line up after the next two episodes. I ask you- how many shows do you feel comfortable watching with your children? We are talking evening television here. (yes- I watch the Wiggles and love it in the morning!) Anyway- Three Wishes is the quality family television show that our nation needs right now. It is about good will to men and rewarding the underdog. It's about good people doing good things for more good people. Please watch it this Friday night on NBC. It is a special Christmas episode. Encourage friends and family to tune in. Warning- you may need a box of tissues close by, its bittersweet and reveals true feelings of the heart. Thanks for listening!

What's a girl without her shoes!

Ok- so I have a slight shoe fettish. I thought I had a lot of shoes. My 18 month old daughter had this many pairs of shoes before she could even walk. Can you count em? Here are some of my favorites....

-food
-relationships between the very old and the very young
-health
-family and friends
-twinkle lights
-tiny kitties that run from little children
-coffee and conversation
-first snowfalls
-little girl clothes
-pictures
-growing children and watching them grow
-so much more that I know I'm forgetting!

Happy Feet!

Maya and I just started a mom and tot gymnastics class. It is here where not only hands are stamped, but feet also. Kids love stamps. They squeal with delight. Maya couldn't stop looking at her feet all day long!

Sing to me Daddy!

Got this (bad shot) last night. Maya tried to pull out Ben's guitar on her own. He couldn't resist and got it out to play for her. As he sang, she had her hand on his leg, looking up at him with such awe! I tried to get closer but didn't want to ruin the moment!
