10 on Tuesday
1. Loved seeing that first gentle snowfall when waking up this morning. A thin dusting on the streets and rooftops was a gorgeous sight.
2. Today was one of those days that I didn't really like my job. Didn't feel like going, not one bit. Staying home in my pj pants and hoodie, crafting and eating meatball subs with my family sounded so much better.
3. Got the bathroom cleaned and 3 loads of laundry done today. Not sure how we lasted cuz basically all our clothes were in the dirty wash. There are still 2 more loads waiting.
4. The tree is still standing.
5. How do you put a two year olds coat on when she doesn't want to leave the place you're at and doing everything in her power to prevent that coat from going on?
6. Watched Al Gore on Oprah today and I am convinced that our next car will be a hybrid, I am buying cloth grocery bags and we are going to wrap our water heater in a water heater coat. Bec - you'd be so proud. We already use the energy saving light bulbs.
7. I haven't gotten the mail yet today because it is so cold outside and I don't want to walk from the front door to the mailbox. It's now almost 10:30pm. Can you say LAZY!
8. Maya speaks in 6 word sentences sometimes. Can't believe how fast this little girl is growing up.
9. Ben updated his blog!
10. I am loving blasting the Christmas music in the car!

i really like the sound of number 2. i think i might do that tomorrow.
ooh - I like your energy saving ideas! When David and his housemate got a new (spiffy) energy efficient water heater, they gave me their coat for my water heater. I didn't even know they made things like that! I'm not too good at remembering the cloth bags when I go to the grocery store, but I think that is great that you're going to do that! If you get a hybrid, we would definitely need to take a picture of mine, rach and ed's, and your's all next to each other!
I also think that blasting christmas music in the car is a great idea!
Sorry the job was a bummer today. Your number 2 sounds like heaven to me.
go hybrid - it's where we are headed. Thinking cloth grocery bags are a great idea! I usually ask for paper and that seems to make the baggers mad - but i figure I can use them later to recycle and wrap boxes to ship.
Furnace coats? Now that's a new one on me. We do use those energy effient lightbulbs- did you get your free one from the city this year?
Glad to hear the tree is still upright - the concrete must be working.
Yea for a clean bathroom & Laundry - those are 2 chores that are not fun (not that ANY chores are really fun)
You got me on number 5 - short of bribing them with candy and the promise of trains - I just get on the floor and wrestle riley's coat on or pick him up (still kicking and screaming) and (try) to buckle him in the seat. Hopefully this stage will pass. It's hard to make them understand that they are just going to the next thing.
Um Maya is amazing. She totally cracked me up in church - when she told Ben -I go color picture & show you with her little arms out.
oh and Bec - you made my little heart swell with pride - when you mentioned the picture of our hybirds together...
hehe
Dude, did someone say meatball sandwiches? I think I want one now... and I think being in comfy clothes in cold weather sounds perfectly lovely.
