Changing...
I've always felt that change is a good thing. There is a lot of change in my life right now. The dance studio is about to make a big move to a much needed roomier space. The only bad thing about this change is that I am spending all of my waking hours painting, cleaning, moving, phone calling and address changing. It's a shame that life doesn't stand still while you're trying to accomplish something. I still have to run the current studio while trying to move it at the same time. One week, one week from today we will be in, the walls will be painted the gas, electric and phone will all be in my name and hooked up. The floor will be in, the carpet laid, the parents and dancers happy. Ahhh- life will be good.
Here is some incredibly beautiful change......
PS- I am taking suggestions on a cute halloween costume for Maya? Any ideas?

So, I'm kind of jealous- beautiful fall colors right outside. Breathe them in, Missy!
good luck with this big move!
you are almost done.
you are almost done.
how about a big happy sun?
i think she has been helping lily grow this past year :)
change is a good thing - it's just sometimes stressful getting there. hang in there - one more week, one more week.
maybe a beautiful butterfly? going with the bug theme since she was a bee and ladybug...
Good luck on the move.
It'll be SO worth it when you're all settled in. :)
As far as costume ideas, I am making Emma a black and orange tutu with purple ribbons that she can wear with her sparkly pumpkin t-shirt from Target. Oh, and a witches' hat and stripey tights (IF I can find those pesky things!).
Phew!
I hope I get it finished in time.
I'll post a pic of a similar tutu I made for her 4th birthday on the blog this week if you want to check it out. It's a very simple and inexpensive project!
Good luck with the big move!
Good luck with the move. How about a sunflower? Or a princess? Or a froggy?
(just some ideas off the top of my head)
hi missy,
i should have read this entry first -- i asked a question about what all of the painting was about on your most recent post, but now i know.
